ATCO 12/20

Looks like the burnout box is finished and they are open this Sunday.
I'm heading down to make a few more passes before the weight reduction process begins. Any one else? Looks like 46 and Sunny.

Drive down + Burnout + holeshot = plenty of break in.

seriously, is that what you would do? ive read people not breaking stuff in, but talking to the yukon gear guy he swears by it, not just as a spokes person but a racer himself. when i built my 10bolt i broke it in for abut 300mi first before launches and burnouts and was fine.

Its a joke, but I have actually seen people do it before and not have problems.

Well made and set up gears don't take a long time to settle in, a week worth of drives long enough to get everything up to and running at full temperature for a bit should be all that you really need.

i wasnt trying to be sarcastic if that was the tone. i would prob race it if i only spent like 500 on it. but a bit more invested in it than that so i want to make sure its right. ill sit this one out

That bad huh? Track too cold or they just didn't prep it for crap? Or...too fresh?

Not sure what it was, I've been there with this kind of weather and less cars to put heat into the track without any issues. Must have been the prep i would assume. I even switched to my 325s at 15psi barely coming up the converter and spun threw the 60'

Just saw this thread and bumping it up. Good to see they're investing into the track, I hope it was just bad prep for the the day.

On a side note; does anyone know what they're putting where they cut down all those trees? I was there for Racewars, haven't been back since.

I wanted to go that day but was putting my rear in that weekend. I don't get to go race anywhere but e-town due to time constraints and living 5 mins from there

If you that close to E-Town I wouldn't make the trip to Atco unless it was for a rental.

I would only go to atCo when etown is closed ... People swear atCo is better tho

I live literally 5-7 mins from etown I work 40 mins from etown so on weds nights I will take my car to work and go straight from work to track for test n tune ... If I can run consistent I will do Brackets but it's hard with stick I did win semi final in corvette challenge one year with my stick c5z tho
