1988 Camaro "sports coupe" vert

Along with my 86sc that I drive whenever I get a chance, one of my other cars is this 88 vert. From what I've been told it was relatively well known locally around a decade ago. I bought it out of a friends backyard October/2015 where it sat for many years. Heres the car as I found it

And here's the day I brought it home. Apparently it had an aluminum big block backed by a tremec 5 speed used for drag racing. That drivetrain is long gone but the 6 point roll bar and rolled quarter panels are signs of the cars racing past. Sitting has taken its toll on the car and about half the floor will need replacement. The roof is shot from water collecting on it and there was some crappy homemade interior full of lights and some homemade parts.

My plan is to rebuild the car into a nice driver. I haven't done much to it since owning it besides gut the interior and get the trunk area finished/painted. Still a lot of work ahead but I hope to have good progress by warm weather next year. Collected almost everything to put the car back together, manual doors, full ac delete setup, new roof, orange conteur Ls seats, cross lace wheels, 3:73 rear, etc. the drivetrain is a 355 with an accel super ram And some other good parts backed by a t56.

Not much noteworthy progress but I did find these pics doing a search on this site. These are what the car looked like when it was for sale in the classifieds here back in 08. Soon it'll be brought back

Interior was even the same as I got it. All of it is thrown away now from water/rust damage
