Needed a jump. Once it started, it gave us a "Service Shifter" warning on the dash. Car was fine after it warmed up and didn't need a jump again. For reference, car was brought in for an oil change and the shifter recall. I'm guessing there may be a short from the rewired shifter so I'm not writing off the car as "fixed" just yet.
Dealer network is horrible, by the way. Oil change and recall took 4 hours, 3 hours more than I was told. Found they overfilled the oil too. Going to call tomorrow and complain about the overfill, and possibly the battery leak if the car doesn't start again.

Gotcha. Test drove a Durango and GC last night. Didn't like how the Durango rode and thought the cloth seats were uncomfortable, although it did have more interior space and storage than anything else that I saw.
I thought the side bolster location and shape on the GC was extremely uncomfortable, and I could not shift the seat or my position to make it better. I definitely liked the stiffer ride Laredo more than the Durango, along with better feeling inputs while driving. It also had more room than I thought it would behind the rear seats.
A 6 speed Wrangler Unlimited wasn't available at the local dealership. Leaning towards the Explorer at this point, as I had no real complaints.
Also: My Explorer is officially for sale, we'll see what happens.

No, but the Acadia shrinks in 2017 to be smaller than a Traverse so it disqualifies itself.
My mom has a Traverse (old Acadia size) and I'm not happy with how it tows - it squats under 1500 lbs noticeably.

4Runner? Not sure if a new one is in the budget, but those new TRD versions are pretty cool.
