SEMA President and CEO Chris Kersting: “Help Get the RPM Act Across the Finish Line

SEMA President and CEO Chris Kersting: “Help Get the RPM Act Across the Finish Line!”

By SEMA Washington, D.C., Staff
The year 2017 marked the start of a new Congress and a rare chance to preserve our U.S. motorsports traditions and industry. The new Congress reintroduced the RPM Act in January, and the moment is now ripe to permanently reverse the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) misinterpretation of the law. Take a minute and support this critical bill that protects Americans’ right to modify street vehicles into dedicated racecars and the industry’s right to sell the parts that enable racers to compete.
SEMA’s President and CEO Chris Kersting has more:
“SEMA is grateful for our members’ enthusiastic efforts to support the RPM Act last year. Along with most other pending legislation, the bill lapsed at the end of 2016, leading the U.S. Congress to reintroduce the bill this year. SEMA is now calling on the entire enthusiast community and industry to again contact your federal lawmakers to request support for the RPM Act of 2017. Even if you sent a letter last year, it is critical that the new Congress hears from you. Passage of the RPM Act is the only way to ensure that this time-honored tradition and livelihood for millions of Americans will be preserved for generations to come.”
Take action now; it’s easy and only takes a minute. Contact your lawmakers here: www.sema.org/rpm. Thank you for doing your part to make permanent the right to enjoy our motorsports traditions.

Feather-light suspension, Konis just couldn't hold. I'm so glad I took a look inside your showroom doors.
