For those that don't know the drill: Choose one option as your pick for June 2017 COTM.
Voting will close on Wednesday, June 12th, at 8:00am EDT and then a winner will be announced. We'll send the winner a NJFBOA decal and add them to our COTM Archive, to commemorate the win
Good luck, guys!

Anti Rice Guy
1995 Chevy Camaro Z/28 Convertible
Car was purchased in 2001 off of a used car lot while on vacation. Within the first month it got the stripes, chrome 16" Trans Am wheels, a high flow cat/catback, CAI, and a Hypertech programmer. Since then, the only addition has been three-point subframe connectors.
In the meantime, it's been a lovely cruiser, roaming the curvy roads of Northwest NJ and the shoreline.
2. Owner: Jerry Schmidt
1969 Chevy Camaro Z/29 - The Blue Maxi
I am submitting The Blue Maxi for my friend Jerry Schmidt who sadly passed away a few weeks ago at the age of 76.
It was the cover car in Car & Driver Magazine in July 1969 and the Feature Test Car in August. He bought it from the original owner in April 1971 and maintained it in pristine condition, but would drive to many weekly cruises in the North Jersey area.
Out of over 1000 cars that were registered for the Nationals, this car was chosen to win the highest award at the event and one of the highest in the country: the historic Vehicle Association's "This Car Matters Award"! The car is now on the world stage and is going to be seen by millions with all the attention its been getting at the Nats.
IF he is awarded COTM I'll be sure that the NJFBOA sticker is displayed somewhere with the car as it is going to be documented by the HVA for submission to the same Registry VIN 10001.
It would be a great honor for his car to receive COTM especially considering he died this month.

ThoR294
1997 Pontiac Trans Am WS.6 6MT
Acquired this car in 2007 after I wrecked my 94 formula while falling asleep behind the wheel (oops). Never fell asleep after that, hit the back of a tractor trailer. I was only 18!
I got the car from eBay, and it was bone stock. First thing I did was buy a GMMG exhaust right from GMMG, as the flowmaster was rotting out of the car. Also threw in an eBay short throw shifter, and some poly/poly BMR LCAs. I soon learned how to really modify the car properly, and bought Brian's headlights.
Mods:
LPP Longtube Headers, LPP Offroad Y pipe, PCM4LESS Tune, GMMG Catback, SPEC Clutch, BMR Subframe Connectors, Boxed Stock Rear LCAs, 3.73s, Koni 4/4s, Strano Springs, UMI Adjustable Torque Arm with Relocation Crossmember, Adj Panhard Bar, MGW Shifter, LS1 Front Brakes, Brian's HIDs, Full Sound System!
Car is a work in progress, focusing on a house with a garage right now... which may actually be within the next few months!
Maybe one day I'll have slicks on it and take it to a track rental
