Hot Rod Power Tour
Wondering if anyone here is thinking of doing the 2022 Hot Rod Power Tour. I am thinking of going if there is a local group heading down south.

its not drag week, your not racing everyday.
I did the last few legs in i think 2006. Fun time. But I keep hearing its gotten too big and out of control, so I dunno if its real high on my list anymore.

yea, 2006 was the year that they came to Englishtown NJ as the final stop.
They way they used to run the event was...they would start the next year's power tour off at the place they finished at the previous year. So back in 2006 I just went to E-town to spectate and watch cars pull in and hangout. I was all geared up for them to announce the dates of the 2007 power tour, but when they decided NOT to depart from NJ in 2007, i was pretty bummed out because I planned on cruising for a a day or two.
I won't be attending this year, but maybe one year int eh future it will be back in the northeast.

I remember that. We went to Etown in 2006. I still have pictures from that day. I remember seeing the fbody test mule for the LS7 and getting weak in the knees.

I also did englishtown. That was fun. Def wasn't as big. Scott I am worried it is going to be a bit of a mess to attend. Want todo one with my kids and before I sell my hardtop so planning to go this year. Not really loving the route.
