Compatibility of #722 and #614 Pontiac Heads

Hi,

I have a follow-up question to welding repair of a #722 head - though I am going to take my damaged head to one of the shops recommended in my other question, I have a second question, in case I'm told that my #722 is not repairable:

Can I pair a #722 head (1969 RA IV) with a #614 head (1970 RA IV) ?

I have read that the newer #614 head had a slightly redesigned intake port flow angle (I hope I said that right), and so I'm not sure that the two heads could be paired together on a short block and would perform ok.....

And I ask this because I might find a #614 replacement RA IV head before I find a #722.

Thank you for sharing any knowledge on this question.
