Have you seen jet cars? not like they have monster brakes. Jet cars do the same thing lite the system and warm it up and test the jet. They put on a great show on the start line.
now what I dont see is a chute... now that maybe a problem when he wants to slow down.

I do believe that the engine in the pic is not at wide open throttle so it doesn't have maximum thrust right now.

Might have to take ya up on that. My leave is scheduled from august 6th-31st. Oh and our annual cookout/street shoot-out is on the saturday after the 6th. I missed last years because the T/A was down, but they had some low 10 sec cars there. I think 50+ cars showed. It's a really awesome time. We started it about 6 years ago and it's just gotten bigger. All the racing is done on back country roads(no traffic) and the local cop/security gaurd doesn't come on shift until 6 pm The last time my T/A made it I raced a twin turbo Fox body and barely beat him 3 out of 4 times. The year before that i raced my buddy's shop twin turbo C5 making 550. All the dig runs I won because his traction was non-existent, but our 35 punch run was retarded. at 90 he had 5+ cars on me. I just shut down.....he shut down at 180 = damn

It's an LT1, you KNOW there's no stopping the oil flow. Actually, I'm in talks with a local place about doing an epoxy floor in the entire garage. I'm hoping to have that done BEFORE I swap motors. I'm just trying to figure out if the $3K price is going to be worth it from a resale standpoint.
Jersey, I'd love to check out that meet this year. I don't have to worry about going TDY except for the NCOA at some point while I'm here. Tell you what, you can race MY vette this year!!

No need to ask, it was $225K. Got it under value though because it was a foreclosure. I love the midwest.

You know what's funny though?? We've had a motherf-er of a time selling our Townhouse in Sicklerville. It's 1600SF, 3 br 2 1/2 bathrooms, full basement, 1 car garage, vaulted to 17' living room ceiling, ALL appliances included (fridge, washer, dryer, range, dishwasher, microwave), home warranty included, new carpet and laminate floor, and fresh paint, end unit and corner lot with no association fees. Reasonable priced at $205K and it's been on the market now since December, and we just had to negotiate the hell out of a lowball offer to get a contract that we deemed acceptable. We're taking $200k flat for it, but we're a little displeased but were facing have to pay two mortgages next month, so we were in a bind.

Market is tough around here lately. Lady across the street is selling her house, nice little house. Good starter or empty nester house. She can't get a bite with looking at.
