shining chrome, stainless steel, aluminum, etc., is a much different animal than carbon fiber. that's not to say it's not a good idea, just out in left field when the thread is about plastic and/or metal panels and shining metal.

that said, i'd really like to redo the interior of the '87 in carbon fiber and aluminum. all of the hard parts would either be CF or aluminum and the soft materials would be red and black. i have someone who is going to do the stitching for me, but the hard parts are something else to think about.

a couple years back before carbon fiber was insanely overpriced, i was looking into it........it would have been way too time consuming and expensive and i would have needed molds of everything........
