Aside from the suspension being a pile of crap. They are cheap enough if ya do your own work. I've had mine now for over 5 years and still love the car. The only real big things that went were common ****. Throw out bearing, water pump, radiator and the battery. I'm not including brakes, oil changes and normal maintenance tho.

I love it. How does the power feel compare to a fbody with the same mods? My cousin got one right as I graduated hs and they were new enough to to finance and I started looking for one but apparently the only color combo I wanted is extremely rare.

By "suspension being a pile of crap" you mean in design or it wears poorly?

Before I bought my cruze I looked at some used stuff, including GTOs. OP is right, prices are all over the place. But I did not want a high mileage one or an accident case. I ran into that with G8s too. Plus no more Pontiac means less value to me. BTDT, I passed on dead nameplates. After that I ran out of used cars I liked lol.

Feather-light suspension, Konis just couldn't hold. I'm so glad I took a look inside your showroom doors.

Wears poorly. After about 20k most of it is shot. Especially the struts and shocks. After rebuilding mine, it was a totally different car. And yes I drove the car when when it had less than 5k on it when Alex bought the car new.
