I think the 92-93 heads had more material that the other years. It's probably not a big deal, but I can't remember what area of the head was different.

I heard that too, that the 92-93 heads were a little better than the 94-97s.

I had to LT1's(96&97) along w/ several friends w/ them and I nor any of them never had any problems w/ leaking oil from the intake manifold. Guess you guys had yours go down the assembly line on a friday afternoon before a holiday
