This better not be a bust like last year...... Bloody sneaky bastards bringing daily drivers....

Anyway. I should be in, whether or not I race is up in the air, may depend on whether or not I feel I can launch the car, and rent a helmet. I know people go from the strip to the Chatterbox Cruise night after the strip closes, and I know a damn good ride to get there if people want to do that. Involves a road of local legend. And a few more twisty back ones. However, while I know it goes into late september easily, I don't know whether it will be an official cruise night, I can find out though.

However, that is only one suggestion. And there could be too many cars to make a fun drive out of it. But a drive to a place to eat would be ideal.

Wish I could and not to pat myself on the back, but this team building event is for all of the company VPs and a few select other folks.

Don't worry, Brian; I think we can make this work. If (when?) the 'Bird isn't done in time, I'll take BlackBird to the meet. Win-Win!

Sold the Hawk and my 90 T/A is soooooo not even close to road worthy. Might run the TBSS down the track though. Never raced legally before lol. Do I need a helmet?

May be able to borrow a helmet from a neighbor. But if anyone has a spare.... We have a helmet, but it doesn't have the almighty snell sticker on it....

My best was a 14.9 with the auto. I doubt I'll be running 14s, but considering the first time I took a manual car down the track, I lopped off nearly two seconds off my ET in three passes, I guess I could wind up in 14s in spite of the extra work to get the manual car down the track.
