April Car of the Month
DaSkinnyGuy's 2000 Trans Am
Name: Matt Westerfield
About the car: This is my 2000 Pontiac Trans Am, my one and only daily driver. Great car that gets taken care of and driven. There is not much done to the car, just a lid, catback, gears, tune, lowering springs, shifter, and tint. Currently working on fixing my traction issue so I can post up my new timeslips hopefully soon. This car has been surprising quite a few people for what few modifications it has.

August Car of the Month
RU_Weskot's 2000 Camaro SS
Name: Dave
About the car: I got this car 2 months ago as an "upgrade" from an '04 Acura TSX. It's a 2000 Camaro SS 6spd, and it's the first car I've ever owned that's a manual. Bought it at 30,000 miles and now it's at 32,000+ since it's my daily driver. Only mod done so far is a ported and polished throttle body, and it needs a better driver mod (since I'm still learning). By next summer I plan on re-doing the suspension / brakes / tires before messing with any extra horsepower.

September Car of the Month
firebirdcrazy's 2001 Firebird Formula
Name: AJ
About the car: This is my 2001 Firebird Formula M6. I factory ordered her new and was picked up in March of 2001. She has almost 140,000 miles on the odometer and still running like new. Mods so far include custom paint work with the Phoenix on the hood, custom interior, 1000 watt custom sound system, 18" RPM chrome rims wrapped in BFG tires. All new aftermarket suspension components, with Power Stop rotors and Hawk brake pads. The motor currently has a full line up of bolt on parts. I am running an STS rear mounted turbo setup putting out 500 RWHP with 530 torque on 8 pounds of boost. This year will be finally forging up the motor to handle more boost and have some more fun on the track. See you all at the East Coast F-Body Nationals next month!

October Project Car of the Month
usp55's 1971 Firebird
Name: Collin
About the car: I have had this car for a little less than two years now and it has come a long way. Still a ton of work to do but I’m at least seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. This is my first attempt at anything like this and without a doubt wouldn’t be possible without the help of the members on this site. My goal is to have a safe and functional car by next summer and I’m going to drive it every chance I get. Thanks for everything and more updates and pictures to come in the next month or so.

January Car of the Month
198esp1's 1998 Camaro Z28
Name: Kevin
About the car: This my 1998 Z28 C-Prepared autocross car. I have been autocrossing it for 9 years. I have done all the fabrication and work on the car myself. The only thing stock is the T56. The car weighs 2995lbs, and has an LS6 w/ASA cam, Spec stg4 clutch, aluminum flywheel, 3.73 T2R differential with Moser axles. Also added adjustable rear roll center, aluminum tubular rear control arms, tubular front control arms with custom Koni coilovers, carbon fiber / Kevlar roof panel (not in pic) and a full rollcage built by me. The car is still driven on the street on a regular basis. If your ever at an autocross and see me stop by and say hi.

About the car: This is my 1969 Camaro Z28 I purchased in November. The car has a balanced and blueprinted 350, TH-350 trans, a 12 bolt rear with 3.73 gears. This color is Inferno Red Crystal with a touch of pearl. Looks incredible in the sun. Interior is all stock with a few subtle gauges added. March Car of the Month
deadtrend1's 2001 Trans Am
Name: Timothy Strella
About the car: I bought this car in early March of 2008. Many know it used to be owned by someone on LS1tech. I was toying with the idea of adding a LS1 T/A to my collection and really wasn't expecting to walk out of the dealership owning it that night. This car has run a best of 12.857 @ 109.57 mph.
Current mods: SLP Lid, SLP Loud Mouth II, UMI Subframe Connectors, Strut Tower Brace, Lower Control Arms and Panhard Bar, Pro 5.0 shifter, & Chummma tune.
In the future the car will be sporting a upgraded clutch and rear and will be hitting the track again.

Slow-V6's 2002 Trans Am WS6
Name: Jeff
About the car: This is my 2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6. It's an M6 car. It has a built 383 LS1 with a 238/248 cam and ported LS6 heads. Has all the basic bolt ons. Still rocking a stock 10 bolt so I have not gotten any real track times as of yet. It rides on deep dish Y2K wheels on Firestone Wide Oval tires. I purchased the car back in 2005 in Virginia.

September Car of the Month
ar0ck's 1995 Camaro Z28
Name: Alex
About the car: This is my 1995 Camaro Z28. I purchased it bone stock in 2004 shortly after the first NJFBOA meet at the Firkin Tavern. It's been a work in progress over the past several years with many upgrades to the suspension & drivetrain. Unfortunately she currently lays dormant in New Jersey waiting for some tender loving care. Future modifications involve upgraded brakes and rear axle, and maybe a little cosmetic love as well.

October Car of the Month
3rdgenLs1's 1989 Firebird Formula
Name: Gabe
About the car: This is my 1989 Pontiac Firebird Formula. I bought the car about seven years ago, I'm only the second owner. I did the LS1/T56 swap about four years ago, and have been enjoying it ever since. The engine is basically stock, just added an LS6 intake manifold. It currently has a single 3" exhaust and 3.42 factory gears. The car also has some minor suspension upgrades and 4th gen leather seats. I love this car to death, its the reason I'm an auto technician.

November Car of the Month
Mark68's 1968 Camaro RS/SS
Name: Mark Erdie
About the car: This is my '68 RS/SS Camaro. I bought it about 10 years ago and have refurbished or replaced almost every part on it. The only thing that didn't need to be addressed was the paint. I have a 350 cu. in, 400 hp engine in it with a Muncie 4 speed trans and a Hurst shifter. I just added a Comp Cams Thumper cam that gives it a big block sound. The exhaust is a 2 1/2" stainless kit from Pypes with Violator mufflers. I installed a push button start that makes it kind of unique. The wheels are 17" Troopers for Rushforth. The original seats have been replaced with Arizen racing buckets in black leather with red inserts, the rears have also been recovered to match the front buckets. The front seat belts have been replaced with 3 point racing belts from Morris Classic Concepts. There's much more but I think you get the idea!!

December Car of the Month
sweetbmxrider's 1995 Camaro
Name: Adam B.
About the car: This 95 Camaro started life as a 3.4L six. With help from some pals, some money, and lots of dedication, it has become a high 11 second DAILY DRIVER. I couldn't ask for more from the car at this point, its simply a joy to drive. It is getting old though and has some wrinkles to show. We'll see what the winter brings for it.

January 2012 Car of the Month
RiggsLW81's 1987 Camaro IROC-Z
Name: Chris R.
About the car: I purchased this car in the summer of 2005. It was a stock 350 TPI/700R4 car with some basic bolt ons. I envisioned a supercharged street machine with daily driver manners. After a two year nightmare with a (cough cough) "performance shop" that could not handle the build, the car was shipped to Josh at JS Performance. He did an excellent job of building both the motor and transmission. I am proud to drive this as often as possible, and show everyone how awesome a 3rd gen can truly be.
Motor: JS built 355 w/ Vortech (V-2) Supercharger, Edelbrock Performer Aluminum Heads, SRP Forged Pistons, Scat Rods, full roller valvetrain, Lingenfelter Super-Ram Intake, 1000 CFM throttle body, Edelbrock shorty headers and a Magnaflow Catback
Transmission: JS built 700R4 / 9.5 Vigilante Stall Converter
Suspension: Spohn torque arm & lower control arms, Edelbrock Panhard bar, Eibach springs, Hawk pads...more I'm forgetting
Appearance: (Exterior) Daytona Iroc Cowl Hood, billet grille, Silverstar headlights, Diamond Clear parking lamps, clear turn signals, blackout taillights, tint (interior) Nordskog Digital Gauges on dash and A-pillar triple pod, 1997 Camaro Seats front & back, and a Grant steering wheel

February 2012 Car of the Month
KirkEvil's 2000 Camaro Z28
Name: Taylor K.
About the car: A 1995 Firebird 3.4L was my first car, which I had to part with when going away to college my freshman year. When I came home for the summer, I got the F-Body itch again and found this 2000 Camaro Z28 for sale privately in Toms River, NJ and bought it that day. The previous owner was a middle aged woman that always garage kept it, and had leopard print seat and steering wheel covers and beanie babies on the dash, bone stock. Needless to say its gone through quite a transformation since then.
All modifications on the car were done by myself with the help of a great group of friends. These guys are always willing to help and have kept the race passion alive through the ups and downs of the car. I cant thank them enough.
My goal for the car was to always stay street drivable so that it always keeps my interest. The current trim as it sits may push the threshold of comfortable, but I love driving it. The car has gone a best 1/4 mile of 11.48 @ 121 mph on street tires, and 10.89 @ 124 mph on drag slicks.
There are too many mods to list, so the basics:
Custom Ram Air aka HVAC
FTP 104mm lid, 100mm MAF, FAST 102mm TB, VR Ported FAST 102mm intake
TEA CNC 243 Heads
228/232 .615/.600 111+2LSA
Mezeire EWP, ASP U/D Pulley
1 7/8 ARH LT's, ORY, Cutout, Hooker C/B
Walbro 255, booster, 42lb injectors, billet rails
Full Tubular Suspension, Strange SA front coilovers, Summit Drag rears
Vigilante 4k stall, 4L60E w/ Transgo HD2 kit
PST 3.5" aluminum DS, S60 w/3.73 gears
Lots of stickers for maximum RWHP
