I dont know if they will be able to save 15-20 spots.... theres no true parking for that there.
Should call and see what arrangements can be made

Yea, there's a v6 firebird there. a girl that's 17-18 owns it and she's hot , just doesn't know when to shut up. Anyway, a few f-bodies will be hitting up Sonic in the next few weeks. I bunch of ricers are going to be having a meet there so we're gonna go and I'm gonna see how the owner likes having 30 cars there.

I was just there in the spring for the corvette run and their parking lot across the street is fine. We had 60 vettes there and you know how some of them can be when it comes to parking. lol.

I wouldn't have a problem with the Sonic in Wildwood. That'd also be a nice cruise to the lighthouse and just relax with the t-tops off.

The basic idea is good. However, two things need to be considered in the planning. First, Sonic has fairly limited on site parking in Waretwon. The adjoining Diner is not happy about the competition and is NOT tolerant of people parking in their lot and going to Sonic. Trust me on that. Second, though the early spring might be a bit cool, it is a much safer bet as a date as Sonic becomes insanely busy all the time once the tourists begin to descend (generally any time after Easter). I'm less than 5 miles away, so I can go there anytime. I try to avoid the place except during off hours during the tourist season- very tight parking when busy.

I got another place we could have a south meet at......White Castle in Toms River. and itd be perfect cause some of us stay there for the after hours and hang out at Wawa.
Also there is a Sonic being built in Somers Point, we'll see if they have ample parking for us. God i can taste those brown bag specials and banana cream pie shakes now.

eh white castle used to be blown up by the "street ricer" scene so i'd stay away from there for anything official. 37 is cool though, just low key spots set back some.

....who cares about ricers, its a free country, if they wanna use the parking lot, then fine, but like we said, this is during the daytime, not night, so they are not out at that time. if people want to stick around and cruise 37, different story, plus we meet up at the Wawa's there at night.

The issue isn't ricers, it's the fact that the police are very "discouraging" of gatherings involving performance cars of any type in that area.

if were paying patrons, what are they gonna do. theres no law saying how many performance cars can be in onew parking lot at one time. are we doing burnouts, or blasting our stereo's, disturbing the peace, or carelessly driving, nope, just getting some sliders and having a good time. i dont understand what it is with people being scared of the police. because they dont like it doesnt mean they are gona come in and shush us out.

No one is saying they are afraid of the police. The fact is that people who own fast food places make their money on rapid turn over. Despite what you may think, most are not pleased to have people stay on the premises for extended periods of time. I know for a fact that some owners ask police to help in this regard by enforcing loitering and other related nuisance statutes.
It's also a fact that if you are cited by local police and go to court, the court will virtually always take the side of the police unless there is clear and verifiable evidence to the contrary. Ask people who've been to Seaside Heights, for example. Don't forget, the summons written by police are an important source of municipal revenue.
You are, of course, welcome to see this as you choose. I have sufficient personal experience to know the truth about what I'm saying. I worked with people who were local police officers for over 25 years. They made it clear about the way things work. Perhaps your experiences will be the exception.

TR is hit or miss depending on which nights you go. I always organized cruises going down there to the small wawa and a few of us would go and eat at the small pizza place in the same lot. I definitely love the vineland sonic since the lot is huge. Hmmmmm we'll be down there for the south meet hopefully at the Texas RH

Congrats, wanna cookie? dont care what experience you had or who you know, or how things work, I understand tickets are a major source of revenue for townships. As far as Im concerned, looking at the way white castle is the last couple times I was there at night when cars were out, parking lot was loaded, people stayed for a while, noone had cops called. Though White Castle may make their money on rapid turnover, when I am usually there when cars arent out (Fall and winter mainly) the place is dead, no business, so im sure getting some business from us wouldnt hurt them, its not like we'd be there for 4 hours in the parking lot or inside, it could become a cruise day as well. theres so many options that could become of anyplace, we dont haveto stick at one place. Hell we could go there, and then to sea side hieghts or whatever piece of **** boardwalk they have there is called, or somwehere down the shoreline.
