In one week we'll find out who has the baddest f-body without a roll bar
I'll have my high def camera there. I better get my ass in gear and figure out why my nitrous kit doesn't work

Fastest F-Body without a brain. The cage is to protect you, not scare people away from racing you, good luck with that though.

I'm on an .041 jet.... I doubt they have the balls to stip their nitrous HP to be anywhere comparable to mine.

Since when did a grudge race come down to making both cars equal we might as well run a bracket race then with dial in's.
If i want to do that then ill run at Atco on Tuesdays in the gamblers race for real money.

Wow since Jays car is slow why is it that you are comming off as being worried now?
The video clearly showed how slow it was on that pass

i really dont downplay anything... you've seen my car inside and out and made an assumption of what its capable of. I've never once lied about it... 350 with an .041 nitrous jet, single 3" exhaust, and aside from the LCA's my suspension is bone stock. It doesnt even have frame connectors... All of this i'm willing to bet on just like you guys are willing to bet about your heads.
No doubt your car should he faster but i like picking on faster cars for the challenge. No fun in lining up with a car that i know i'll beat.

It does not matter what either car has done or not done to it. The race should be interresting and has brought this forum to life. I know it seems like there is alot of money into jays car, but it is really just alot of time searching for deals and good hand me down parts. Im just looking forward to seeing the race next week.

Everything i've said about my car is the truth. All the parts are listed in the for sale thread, and anyone is free to look over the car prior to a race. Hell, i've even said what it runs on motor.

I have a 350 thats been bored .040 ...you bore a block to make it useable, not to gain power... it's still a 350 just been rebuilt several times... 3.48" cast crank with a 4.040" bore... i guess thats technically like 356.x ci

While the Twisted Minds Racing folks are spending thousands of dollars for a $150 race, here at Beater Racing we're wrenching hard doing all sorts of crazy stuff to try to compete! First we checked the valve lash for the first time in a year, then we changed the plugs, and we once and for all hooked up the nitrous kit so that it actually works now. This was a tough 45 minutes of wrenching and we invested tens of dollars just to try to keep up... Hope we're bringing enough to the plate with our 75 shot. See what I did there? I made a pun... get it? "enough to the plate"? man, I crack myself up sometimes... anyway, see you guys friday.
Here is a spy shot from Beater Racing Headquarters (aka my driveway):
