It's just a little water, who cares about the rain? You go, you park, you GO INSIDE!

Forecast says there is a 50-60% chance of rain most of the day with temps in the mid 60s early afternoon. Looking at the radar it appears that there isn't much, if any, rain headed in that direction - most of it is staying to the south.
I know a Circus meet in the rain would stink, but since only a handful of people said they could make future rain dates after Memorial Day Weekend, we are going to go ahead and get this in today.

Bad noise from the rear of car. I am certain that it is a bad wheel bearing, having had this problem once before many years ago with a different car. Repair shop can't take me until Tuesday. I am reluctant to drive the 120 miles round trip on I 195 with a bad bearing, so I will have to bow out.

******** you guys held the meet today. Why wasn't it rain or shine the first date? More people from east central jersey would have attended.

If we set a rain date and it rains on date 1 we go on the rain date. If it rains on the rain date so be it. We've only altered that process once I can remember. This one time we decided to throw out an alternative rain date and this was it by a wide margin. Hell, it's my favorite meet and I still did not ask to move it to a day I could go because that is what the vote was. And it appears to have not rained. I know I got our baseball game in w/o rain.
As usual, ****ed if we do and ****ed if we don't. Can't please everyone.

We cannot control that, complain to them not me. We put it up to a vote and we went with the winner. If we pick a day that wasn't the popular choice other people would complain, and honestly rightly so. We will never do that again I will tell you that. Next time it is the original posted rain date no matter how many members complain.

Check post 1, no rain date. I have no idea why you assumed that. No announcements or cancellation warning went out about a rain date and Justin posted at 9:54 am today it was on.

Just cause it does not indicate there is a rain date means I am to assume there is none...?
I saw the weather last night, and did not sign in or check FB till later this morning. Not complaining Mr. Fiesty admin, just commenting on my surprise at the meet being on.
