well a.C. is not a normal city to be honest. Its a casino city, and the problem wiht that is, the way the city makes money is to have peopel blow their money there, so theres alot of people who lost alot of money in the pursuit of winning now living there and cant get out cause they have no money to find a place nor move, so that is why imminent domain is made, so they cna get them out one way or another. alot fo those people have no money or little, and rely on unemployeement and welfare to live off of. personally, stop giving them it, when I was on unemployement, it made me not want to go out and find a job cause I had sufficiant amount of money coming in, so if that would stop, it would make them go find a job, at least try to, and even at that tho their attitude towards customers is very poor, im sure im nto the only one that gets little or no friendly service in a place ran by people of certain ethnicity in an area such as that. I can recall a subway story, btu I wont get into it. I love all races, and such, im a very open person, but there are times when I say that its people like those kids that threw the rocks, that give their ethnicity a bad name, and yet they want respect. as Matthew 7:12 says, because their such religious people, Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you.

here's a question for you: would the world really miss those four?

i'm not saying that they have zero potential, but considering the road they're on, would the world really miss them if they weren't on that road and actually reached adulthood to become the criminals we all know they will be? if a person in that predicament, with a 99% probability that they will end up murdering someone at some point in their life, were to really take stock of their situation, i think they'd go find some rope.

i think everyone has the potential to become a positive force in society, but they have to have had the proper guidance at some point. since we know they haven't had it yet, who's to say they will receive it? instead of becoming a statistic, most likely to commit crimes in adulthood, why not end the problem now before some family loses a loved-one?

i know this is really negative, but i was just thinking out loud. it's a real good "what-if", though.

You are exactly right with that though. I have to drive through "Back Maryland Ave" aka the projects....to get ANYWHERE.....Route 30, Expressway, Brigantine.....So I have no choice but to drive through it. I can drive through there during the week and during the day when ALL school aged kids are in school......I must say that I see just as many school aged kids running around there as I do on a Sat. in July! So like someone else mentioned.....these kids have no parently guidence. Mother doesnt care and doesnt have the money for the kids to have things that they want and need (so the kids steal the stuff from others instead) Who knows where the father is- they aren't going to school......*isnt that great for Future America* - and the law lets them get away with EVERYTHING....Again as someone stated....it's almost like the law is protecting the criminals!!

well what is the law gonna do...no matter what in they're mind they're "cool". going to jail is like a badge of honor to these tards...we need to find an island(or buy a large piece of land on a certain south Atlantic continent) an do what Britain did...put all the criminals there and let them survive on they're own.

Damn Kels,

So sorry to hear about that. Your dad is such a nice guy. Pisses me off that bad things happen to good people. Not that it will make you feel any better but i didn't do **** this weekend either. Beat up from work so i just played Madden on X-box lol. The thing that is really bad is that this is just a random act. Even here in Margate there a few cases of out of control kids. The lady next door to me had her car vandalized twice.

Back to the AC, I think AC is alot better than it once was. My father was a cop here for 25 years and was Capt of the juvenile dept. He used to tell me about the kids that lived in the projects where the walk is now. I do tons of work in AC and have parked my F-Bodies all over the city. Haven't had a problem but i do feel paranoid sometime. Hope everything works out

I don't give a rats *** if its politically correct or not, but I live in whats called a "section 8" area. Our lovely state decided to do that about a year after I moved here. Basically, its cheap housing only made available to "African Americans"(we have a shorter word were I'm from) displaced by "urban development". So they're taking them out of AC to raise property value and moving them to Galloway and Absecon. Sense then I've had windows SHOT out graffiti on my moms car me and my brother have both been jumped. they are scumbags, your windows, someone else's windows, its just senseless BS. it needs to stop

How do you know they are on section 8? Some kids that come from decent/good neighborhoods get caught up with the wrong crowd. True there a tons of section 8 apartments/some homes but not all are section 8. Also true some of the trash has been pushed off the island into area's like Galloway (The Clubs/The Landings) I know 1st hand because my 2nd Apt was at the Landings I paid my $900 a month rent every month but alot of the scumbags didn't and thats my point you can't always assume certain things. What happened to you and your family is truly ashame.

well the thing you have to understand is I live there. the thing that isn't normal about here Is certain buildings are mandated to have section 8 housing. the front area in the complex i live in is standard housing, the back area is has 4 section 8 buildings (6 apartments each) the clubs have much more. the thing is though the owners have no choice in the matter. they either rent section 8 or sell to someone who will. I live in Mattix Crossing. and like I said before, I've talk with the unit owner and found out what the deal is.
