I gave up on Pep Boys the day I was frantically looking for a Holley 110gph mechanical pump. Out of desperation I went in there with the part number in hand. Walk up to the desk and talk to some new lookin kid. I give him the part number and whatnot and he gives a blank stare at the computer for a minute then walks over to an older employee and says "hey can you help this guy hes looking for a fuel pump..." The older guy instantly picks up this weird looking electric fuel pump that has like 1/8" inlet ports and plops it down on the counter. I say "nononono, I need THIS fuel pump made by HOLLEY" he says firmly "oh we dont sell Holley parts" now sitting on a shelf right behind him is a ****ing Holley carb box, I point to that and say "isnt that Holley?" and hes like "OH!" grabs the carb and plops it down on the counter "there ya go" Now, this guy wasnt being sarcastic or intentionally rude or anything, he was a complete invalid. I just walked out.
Although Pep Boys is good for one thing: 165R15 tires for those guys who run front skinnies. Cant find that size anywhere around here, Pep Boys has a ton of them always in stock.
