One more addition.. more of a question.... I was going through your heads up rules, who in the world would have a delay box in a street driven car? Whats its purpose? to get up on the transbrake and launch at 5k off of a traffic light?

when i am up there in the next week or two i am gonna take a look at the lanes and see if i can get a good guestimate on space for each class. i have a pretty good idea from running similar classes in the past, but i wanna look at how long teh lanes are to make sure i am on the right track.
as soon as i look at the lanes and confirm what i think will work we should be announcing time shot lanes. from my figuring we shoudl have space for 2 lanes of time shots.
they won't start getting runs until after all the competitive time shots are done though. then they will run in a regular rotation with the competitive classes.
this is nto set in stone yet, but it is 99.9% likely that it will happen.

all i did was ask for more details about the rules, mainly the exhaust rule. i currently have a full interior so i was just asking for information about the seats, but i would like an answer about wether you will let me run an open borla, and what people with loudmouths have to do.

i dont appretiate you goin off on a rant just because i asked for clarification if certain things will be legal. thank you.

i was thinking about some of the guys that i know who have cars that fit the absolute limit of what can be considered a street car. i know at least 2 low 9 second bracket racers that live near me have every piece of electronics you can think of and still drive to rita's every once in a while.
btw, cops don't appreciate 5K launches as much as we do. there is only one way to confirm that

mike, i apologize for going off last night. i am very tired and the sudden number of questions and flat out downing of the rules has really worked my nerves.

borla and loudmouth systems are allowed to run since they are "muffled" systems.

the seats have to be full sized automotive seats. stock/aftermarket whatever. they have to be big enough for an adult and securely mounted to the floor, it can be on a slider or fixed position, but it must be securely mounted. we will be checking to make sure the seat is safely mounted. my best advice would be to use the four bolts that all f-body factory buckets use to make sure it won't flop around or come loose.
