If the price is good, I'd be interested in 15x8 prostars w/ 5.5" backspace for a 2002 Camaro SS

Also pending admin approval I will be opening a thread there in the "wheels" section basically saying "I'm interested in getting Weld prostars, want to see who else has been thinking about buying Welds" and PMing from there. OK, if the price is right and I can manage the funds I may be in:
 3.5" and 10" Prostars for a 4th gen.

basically, a 15 inch tire will allow the use of a tire with more sidewall, which wouldn't be as stiff as a shorter sidewall'd 16.

the extra sidewall of the 15 will allow more "wrinkle" at a lower pressure which will aid in traction off the line. this is assuming he will be running slicks.

 | when used for drag racing smaller wheels are better because they allow for more sidewall on a drag radial or slick

the more sidewall the more bite the tire will have..more side wall = more meat of the tire to spread out when you launch and it gives the tire a bigger foot print and gives you more traction

I assume he'll be running no more than drag radials

 Edit: Cool, thanks

Also, the 15" Welds will be much lighter than his stock 16" wheels.

If any of you that are on there wanna chime in that would be cool... just nothing that would get Thunder or TSP bitching at full throttle, so nothing specifically eluding to this, unless you can come up with some fancy dancy shizniz that they wouldn't complain about or see as soemone tryign to steal business from them... or however sponsors think
