fixed. i didnt realize it until i took a psych course. for example look at fight club when ed norton thinks hes fighting brad pitt and he throws himself down the stairs and punches himself in the face. your mind can make you do crazy ****. im sure it could reduce/block pain with no problem. its all done with neurotransmitters and receptors. block those receptors and you wont feel pain

exactly. that's why when you get a little cut on your hand (like maybe a papercut) and you don't notice it until way later when you look down and see some dried blood, you didn't have any pain. but, now that you know it's there, it stings like a bitch. but when you were paying no mind to it, oblivious that the cut was even there in the first place, you didn't feel anything, not even the initial breaking of the skin itself.
So what Tsar was trying to say is that it's not the bracelet that works, it's your mind that heals the pain, because they believe so strongly that it's the bracelet, that their mind actually starts believing what it's thinking, and blocking those pain receptors. Sure, the bracelets "work" for some people, but it's not coming from the bracelet, it's coming from their mind. Hell, they could carry a petrified mcdonalds french fry in their back pocket and believe that it would alleviate pain, and it would "work" the same way.
