If it starts at 4pm, and its a couple hours away, I won't be able to make it
Maybe next time. It sounds great!

Well, it starts at 4:00, but the racing lasts until sundown, and the BBQing and boozing last well into the night

How strict is the track? My car should be an easy low 11 second 1/4 mile car, probably even in the 10's but I don't have any form of a roll cage. Will I still get kicked out once I run faster than an 11.5? Or at this event will it not matter?

They are prolly the strictest out of the three in the state....If you are running 11.3s or 11.4s, they would prolly let you slide, but if you are pushing 10s, you'll prolly be stuck eating BBQ most of the night unless you just make 1/8 mile passes.

Thats not the answer I was hoping for If they didn't care, I could work on my runs and see what my car could really do. But since they are strick, I'd probably get a bad launch, run an 11.2, and get kicked out.
I would be getting there late anyways. I'll probably just end up at Atco in a few weeks instead (unless Melissa corrects Justins statement about my car needing the cage )

No, island is pretty strict, if you go faster then 11.3 you will be screwed.
