They're saying 3 inches for me by tomorrow morning, it's been snowing for a while, but it's not sticking on the roads just yet...

5" inches of snow in hopatcong. The county was not prepared for this. They didnt get plows out until after 7am and finally plowed my road at 10am. I hate that it came even before thanksgiving. I cant remember a thanksgiving in a couple years that we had snow on the ground.

Yeah we had snow on the ground this morning. And it sounds like the house we want to move in to had probably 3 to 4 inches of snow today. James is in heaven....but we are in need of 4wd/awd if we get this house, lol.

Or Explorer AWD... During the really bad rainstorms earlier this year, the rivers in my town flooded so I drove through over a foot of water. No problems!

How dare you recommend pansy Japanese AWD over good old american Jeep 4WD!
Besides....all the Subaru AWD in the world isn't gonna help when there is over a foot of snow on the ground.

As for the car of choice, it'll be whatever we can get cheap enough but reliable enough to last us a couple years. After that we'll just get benzes every year But to get in to this house we have to forgo the beater for a while, lol.
