If it ain't a brand-new Z06, then it won't be a C6. The regular C6 front is pure Butt! I'll take the looks of these Kappa roadsters over the looks of a regular C6 any day.

Here's an interesting link that I found with the help of a member in another message board:
http://www.mallettcars.com/pdf/solst...orm_111907.pdf
It's basically pricing info for an LS2 conversion by the Mallet Brothers. And it's natural to assume that there's probably an LS3 conversion in the works, if not by the Mallet Brothers, then by someone else. With the LS2 conversion, you can buy a stripped-down Solstice for a little over $20,000 (with GMS pricing), send it off to the Mallet Brothers, and pay them $22,500 to do an LS2 conversion that would also upgrade the shocks, radiator, muffler, and shock absorbers. Add everything together and you have a lightweight roadster that cost just as much as a base model C6, would be rarer, and can be made to look much better than a regular C6. Plus, there's a 2-year, 24,000 mile warranty on the parts installed by the Mallet Brothers.

I like the sky hands down in stock form although the altezza's need to go.
Modded with a nice body kit the solstice can definitely look very good though.

I like the Sky's front, but hate the Opel it's modeled after. So Solstice. Redline. Black.

I just got an email from Chuck Mallett. He said that they're doing LS3 conversions now and there's no sales tax on the conversion.

I guess all these people that "like" the Sky better are not buying them, pretty sure the Solstice outsells the Sky
But I am biased

On a Kappa board there is a Dealer on there and the constraint (I think that was the word) list always has more Solstice that Sky. I may be wrong, and the person that says this may be wrong too....

although i voted that the sky looks better i would still buy the solstice over the sky because of the pontiac badge basicly lol...
besides i think the solstice has more potential with upgrading the exterior IMO

I actually posted this poll in four other message boards--two of which were mustang sites (I use to have an '88 Mustang GT). There weren't too many females that voted, but out of the 8 that voted, only 1 voted for the Solstice (that was 'Banditt88').
Between 75%-80% of all voters voted for the Sky.
