As a fellow dog lover, I was following your story. I had to put down my last two Shetland Shelties. My last one was put to sleep in my arms with my son next to me. It was the hardest thing in the world to do, because it meant playing GOD, but when Dusty got to be about 12 years old he just stopping eating and looked like the saddest dog in the world. They do give you some much love and ask nothing in return but yours, and they are very much missed.

 Dogs rule!!!!! Theres a reason they're mans best friend. They are family,they have their own personalities just like us,and they are loyal to a fault. They watch over us when we sleep, and ask nothing in return, although they like snax ,a scratch behind the ear,and occasional rides in the car (or truck or Jeep) Sorry for your loss brother.
