I got a new best too...80.6 mph finally, but I did worse on the 60' and ET. Taking out the air filter slowed me down. Very slim showing as well. Oh, and I had to identical runs of 16.979.

The first video is your favorite I think...I missed most of the burnout because I didn't realize you got up there so fast.

wow that's a huge improvement in the trap man. 95 to a 99! that's awesome. i was pretty damn dissapointed in my two runs. my previous best was a 14.7@95 but with a horrible 2.44 60 foot. i figured a 2.2 60 would drop me to like a 14.5. nope. 2.000 60 on the dot and still ran the same time 14.7@95 i think i may have let off too soon. i let off before the red light went on. o well. it was fun.

jerzeyiroc, you might have experienced the elevation change and weather change....
im SURE last night was hotter and more humid than a few weeks ago at etown. and island is a higher elevation.
that 2.0 in the same conditions at the same track WOULD have improved your times

What elevation is Etown? Isn't Island like 250 feet above sea level? It was pretty warm, like 74 degrees. My truck was feelin the heat. The air was great, if only it was a bit cooler.

IIRC, e-town's right about at sea level, and Atco's a tad below that

lol like 0 feet above sea level. seriously though its like at sea level or somethin. it was definatly cooler when i ran at etown. i was just a little pisse cuz the first thing i looked at was my 60 foot an saw that it was .2 better. i was expecting like a14.5 at the most. so i was upset to say the least. i also let off the throttle just a hair before that cross box. i remember i saw the red light go on but i definatly let off before that. so i dunno. im definatly gonna go to the next one. either way it was a lot of fun. hopefully i can get there a lot earlier and meet some of you guys. it was a lot of fun.

Which car was yours? Navy blue metallic or red/black wheels?

Island is about 540 ft above sea level, which is usually good for about a tenth from atco, .05 from englishtown. Sounds like everyone had a good time. I hope the word spreads so we get a bigger turnout in the upcoming weeks.
