Easy drive, straight down Rt195 for the most part. You should join in with us for the ride down. There is a nice hum of V8's when we all go down the highway together

This thread is about going to the upcoming meet together. If you have nothing on topic to say, keep it out of here.

Having a meet at the track is really not much of a meet. People spread out all over the place and it ends up having nothing to do with the club.
We do have lots of members that go to the track as a group on a regular basis. Just keep an eye on the regional and drag racing forums, that is where they usually get discussed.

I'll try. If nothing else, I'll go to the departure point and pick up the stickers for the firebird, but if I do go, I'll try and take the diesel. As close to a v8 as I have on the street ... gonna be a little slower in terms of speed. btw - anyone else have a CB?
EDIT> why not meet up at the Trenton Thunder parking lot? I've taken pics there before - would be very easy to get a nice group photo right quick from up top of the walkway across Rt. 29, and there's no business to compete with in terms of parking - we'll be the only ones in the lot.

I originally was thinking of the Thunder parking lot, but I was informed that the cops will chase people out of there. I figured Kat Man Du was the next best thing since they won't be open for business yet when we are there and it is right next to the stadium.

That sounds odd. I've been in the TT parking lot lots of times for photos and stuff, never been chased out or anything.
You'll notice my old mx6 down in the parking lot. That photo took 30 seconds to expose.

I won't be making the meet. I forgot that the Komen Race for the Cure was on Sunday. For some reason it was on Saturday in my head. So I will be running a 5K in the morning. Depending what time everything wraps up I will try to get to the meet.

Well, see you guys this weekend. btw - if one of you guys can bring a sticker (like, the windshield one available on the store, preferably white/silver/maroon, with maroon best since it matches the maroon paint on most of the car) I would like to get one, and will bring the money.

Since Tim won't be going, I'll be waiting at the KatManDu parking lot with my Jeep if anyone still wants to meetup. It's a black lifted Cherokee with a little mud on it, and NJFBOA stickers on both side windows - should be pretty easy to spot me

Sorry if you don't see this, but I'm not going to make it. My wife and son both just woke up sick, and I don't wanna leave them alone all day.
