Well my problems will be fixed after I get enough cash for a 12 bolt.
I might not have all my **** gutted But I bet my car is pretty light..
And whats stopping me from only running with a seat and the cabin carpet?

Since when is a 3500 stall speed converter huge? That's still pretty tame, especially since his car isn't a DD.
Converter stall speed should be selected based on each car's specific combo. What is big for one car is tiny for another.

Many cars that have 3000+ stalls usually have huge cams have been stroked and are producing upwards of 400 horsepower to the wheels.

And your point? As I said before, you match the stall to the total combo of the car, as well as it's intended use. He's got a cammed 400" sbc that's put together as a street / strip car.
A 3500 stall is a good match for his car.

alot of LS1 A4 guys buy one at least that size, for their bolt on cars
