I'm going. According to their info line they are open today.

1979 RS weighs 3580 lbs. with me in it. 406 w/ Victor Jr, Pro Systems 850 CFM carb, Pro Topline 220cc heads, solid roller cam with .630 lift, 264-270 duration @.050, Ross -5cc mini dome racing pistons, 12.5 to 1 compression, Forged crank and rods, splayed 4 bolt mains, 1.875" headers. Converter stalls at 3200, Trans Specialties turbo 350, 4.10 gears. Fastest to date is 10.87 @ 123.

Yea, I called about a half an hour ago and it's still saying they're gonna be running tonight. I'm going to make a call right before I leave to make sure I don't take the ride out there for nothing. Well if anyone spots a black Z28 that's an SS clone with a young kid driving it stop by and say hi since it looks like I'll be the only one I know heading out now.

Ehh well I just got in. let me say this....HORRIBLE night. I should of never went. Only got 4 passes in and no PB. Ran a 13.15@109.5 and all the other passes were 13.5+. That tack wasn't hooking and best of all, I hit a deer on the way there and now I need a new front bumper. Pics will be posted soon in the multimedia section.

Damn, sorry to hear about the deer accident, was it on jackson rd? Man you always gotta be carefull this time of year, I have seen them run across the road the past couple of times down there. Glad you are okay though! And as for the track I'm sure that all the rain and humidity didn't help plus I take it they didn't prep it either. And on top of it the DA had to suck......no new best in this air!  Ya gotta come down on a sat./ sun. t&t day like the 16th and you'll definitley see your 12 sec. slip.

yea it was actually on chatsworth road. I hit a baby deer at about 45. I only cracked the bumper so now it's off to the body shop on Monday. The car may be in the body shop next weekend so I may not even be going to TTp's event now.

Here's a pic of where the bumper cracked up top:  And then you can see that I'm missing some of the undercarage(I tore it off because it was still attached)
Atleast this was a great opportunity to test out the camera in my new phone....haha

ouch sorry to hear.............i cracked my car on a caddy not to long ago just got her back. Thats why i decided not to drive it to atco tonight. Good luck on getting it fixed. They did a great job where i took my car
