Wait, do NOT accept that...that is NOT enough to fix your vehicle. Demand the estimate that they wrote to come up with their figure. They can't just say "Oh well here's $700". There needs to be an estimate written by an appraiser that represents your insurance company. If they give you one scan it and email it to me...that's a f'in disgrace.

Do not accept that amount. Do you have any other pics?

I could take more pics. They looked at my car when i was at work, so i left it at home. My dad was around i'll have to see if they gave him some paperwork. Plus my headlight only goes down when it wants to now too. And they told me to have it taken apart and fix only the broken piece because the assembly is too expensive.

They wrote a preliminary estimate. I bet they wrote just the bumper cover and the license plate cover.

As far as the assembly, F that, they can't pick and choose what to fix and how to fix it. They need to fix it correctly. Your insurance company sounds like a bunch of A-holes.

PM when you get your paperwork, I'll help you where I can...I just don't want to see you get screwed.

Well I called them back. Explained everything on how $700 wouldn't come close to covering it. They called me back yesterday and said everything would be taken care of down to the bird on the plate cover being repainted silver. I drop my car off monday to get the work done. They even offered me a rental car too, but ill be in vegas next week anyways so I declined it.

Im just glad everything worked out, even though I told the adjustor he had the assesing skills of a ham sammich

I was gonna say you need to talk to the insurance company again. I've also had High Point since I was 17, besides one year that I left to try and do better with Progressive (didn't work out). I've never had issues dealing with them.

Glad everything was straightened out.
