I think the paint looks damn good, not too many of the greens rolling around with a body that looks as good as that. I'd sure as hell drive it.

Yea there meant to be...didnt put any clear coat on them when i painted them...might end up putting it on after all along w/ maybe spraying the center caps silver..Applied some wheels finish on them the other day and I liked the shine.

no i think i was just used to seeing the bgm shade on my old camaro. i was looking at other polo green maros and it seems to be pretty on center. your car looks liek a six banger now without the mc roof paint.

It probably looks dull because they're not great photos, and the dull wheels kind of dim the paint. I think it looks good.

i just figured if your gonna paint the roof might as well match the mirrors....the problem with that is it makes your car look like a six banger. the v8 4th gen camaros usually came with the monochrome roof paint and distinguishes itself from the six banger version. the firebird achieves this with a badass spoiler, skirts, bumper and sometimes a hood. since the firebird and trans am drastically look different its up to the roof paint on the camaro to offer the distinguishing characteristics.

if your happy with it then thats great. i was just letting you know how i feel about your vehicle. never said it looks bad, just that you basically demodded your exterior by painting the sail.

in fact the black sail panel is enjoyed by me so much...im getting it done on my t/a

I was brought up if you dont have anything nice to say, dont say it at all...I dont consider someone telling me my paint looks dull from a picture 30 ft away or telling me my car looks like a v6 an opinion, just dont think its needed that all.

Yea the Trans Am's were innovative looking 11 years ago when they came out.

i wasnt saying anything about the camaro vs the firebird in looks. i just said that you painted over the most distinguishing feature on the v8 camaros which in turn made yoru car look like a v6 version.

christ i never said anything bad about your car....i thought your paint looked dull because im not used to seeing polo green cars. after google imaginf polo green camaros i retracted my statement.

but i guess if i post pics of my car fishing for compliments i would feel kinda dissapointed over constructive criticism as well.

i thought they all had black sail panels, but the v6 thing is painted mirrors?

also, weren't the headlight buckets flat black for a lighting reason?

yeah they really need to be flat black otherwise the light glares and blinds oncoming traffic. sealed beams do blow, but do put out light. my v6 had black mirrors. it became an option in 96 i think to have mirrors and sail panel body color.
