I'm used to charging my phones anyhow because I'm always on it. The only problems I have with AT&T is dropped calls now and then, but I still get service everywhere I would with verizon and the phone is amazing a year after I've had it. Usually I'm bored with a phone after the first month.
If your phone is lagging when it opens messages, clear out your messages. Chances are it's loading months worth of messages every time you open them and there's no need for it. Unlike other phones it doesn't have a limit to your inbox.

hmm true ill try that.
with the battery life..there are pluses and minuses. if you use your phone alot, like apps, games, internet, etc its going to die really quick. the plus side is you can charge it if you have a computer and usb cable, and many people have these because they have ipods.
a trick to longer battery life is turning the brightness down to really really low

Battery life can be bad if you play alot. Just buy a car charger. If you have it pluggd I of will go from 10 percent to 100 in like 30 min. It's chargers must faster then a regular phone. I haven't had any major problems yet. A few bugs with the new software but all of Which been fixed with updates.

This. Service has been nothing but awesome for me.
Simple solution to battery problem..... plug it in before you go to sleep everynight. No problems with it here.

the only reason ill get rid of my current iphone is to get the next one coming out. i use it to find local restaurants, get phone numbers for businesses (which you can just click the phone number from the browser and it calls), use it for GPS (map quest) it takes awesome pics, you get the point. there isnt really anything that you cant do with it. i even open .pdf files when i get orders sent to me from the base. btw your email automatically gets picked up by the phone.

My bro has a droid phone and my boss has the blackberry. Both are are nice and comparable to the iphone without a doubt. I just like the ease of itunes. I bought the 32gig 3gs and i more then half of it filled up with music and got movies on it. Not that you can do that on other smart phones but its easy with itunes exspecialy if you already have an ipod. My bro wishes he bought the iphone instead of his droid just because off the itunes and a million more apps.

If you have Verizon, I would get the Storm2. iPhone just caught up with the stuff the Storm has, and now the Storm2 offers more features, and now WiFi.
I love my Storm, and now that I updated to 5.0 software, any and all problems Ive had with the phone are gone.
Its fast, tons of apps, and you dont need to bow down to Apple-only software or AT&T's shotty service.
Droid is still not a true touch phone with the keyboard, no idea wtf that is all about. Same with the Pre.
The rest of the touch phones dont compare to either the Storm/Storm2 or iPhone.
If you have Verizon, get the Storm2. If you have AT&T, get the Storm2. Better phone, better service.

Good info. I've been considering the storm2, my verizon plan is up December 7th or something like that.

Play with it. I went in and played with the one the big Verizon store had, but someone had changed a lot of the settings.
Storm2 also has some sort of 3D software for pictures. Ive been reading on crackberry.com for a while about it, but havent seen anything to show it off.

Incorrect regarding the Droid. The phone has the full on-screen touch keyboard as well as the pull out regular qwerty keyboard. I have an second gen iTouch as well which is the same as a new iPhone but just can't take pics or make a phone call. The touch screen use and keyboards are near identical and both have the same text correction and auto complete.

Any particular reason you paid $21 for one day air?

Yeah the iPhone service through AT&T in the US is pretty damn expensive. I've always wanted to have an iPhone though because they are just so damn cool. The service here in the uk costs about 50 bucks all in so I couldn't resist.
Sent from my iPhone
