When i'm running around with my friend in his saleen mustang we've gotten a few ls1's trying to race. I think it goes both ways.

In my camaro, the mustangs try.. my boyfriend has a few mustangs and any time we're out there's always a 3rd or 4th gen that wants to race.. never any earlier generations. I think it has more to do with the age of the owner and not the choice of car.

I honestly never got any crap in my car (95 Camaro) other than kids in HS telling me "oh my car is faster than yours"
Me "Oh really, what kind of car do you have?"
The Loser "An eclipse"
Me "Oh is it a V6 manual?"
Loser "No its a V4 auto vert with tons of decals from my sponsors"
Me "Oh really, that sounds really fast" lol i never wasted my time.

i agree with both of these statements.. I'd rather have a GT cruising around me than some silly integra that tried racing me on 18 north between college ave and busch campus. Silly drivers just don't understand that there's no replacement for displacement.

And, when done right, GTs, Cobras, SVTs ... I always love to hear that pony car rumble from time to time =]

speaking about those imports or even the wanna be ricer's. are these people really riding on just springs or is it the shocks.

i had a audi go by me the other day it looked like it was just bouncing all over the friggin place, i could tell the guy needs a kidney belt just by looking at his facial expression.
