That's what I was thinking. NJFBOA meet up 6 or 7, while there's still enough daylight.
Bonus: Eat around 8:00/8:30, (All You Can Eat Wings for $10 on Thursdays at Wayne Hooters), and head up the street to the Willowbrook/Toys-R-Us spot at 9 or 10.
Gives everyone the option to do either one, or both.
Just come by Hooters a little later then, Bangarang.

north jersey meet spot
I was thinking of the A&P and mcdonalds in Pequannock. The A&P and the mcdonalds where victims of last years flooding and remain closed. That would be a great place to meet, if the cops don't kick us out. The parking lot is huge and not being used. It's off route 23 in Pompton plains (Pequannock) also in wayne the Kohls of 23 there is a car show there every thursday, but only for 25 year and older cars. Maybe we can hang there on different day. This lot is tucked in the back north of Kohls just before the exit out to Ratzer rd.

throwing out an idea... Rutt's Hutt in Clifton NJ. known for their famous hot dogs and 'road food' type menu.. (almost anyhitngis a good meal there). has 2 parts... a stand up and eat section, and a full restaurant/full bar on the other side..when you walk in its a timewarp - the place hasnt been renovated or touched since the early '70s, and thats part of the charm it offers... dogs and beer is never a bad combo there..
they have a big parking lot, and im pretty sure one nite a week (maybe tuesdays? cant remember) they do a small car meetup there..
its located at 417 river road, clifton nj - easily accessible by all north major highways... most closely route 3, 21, 46 and 17 but others are pretty easy to get there too..
i tried to get rutts hutt as a meet point for the north meet a year ago and it fell on deaf ears.."chilis' needs to be removed from the north meet spot in the winter months! if i want average corporate chain food dining, i can go with my woman, lol.
anyone interested in rutts hutts meet just shout - id be down - and im sure a phone call to them could yield the info about which day has their car meet.

That place is great. Got some family history there. Used to be a hotbed for street racing on Rt 21 in the '70s.
Is there enough room in the dining area for 20+ people? I've always stood at the counter side.

in regards to racing on 21, you still see it from time to time..but only lowlife assclowns on crockrockets and souped up with stickers imports. kind of makes me laugh, since 21 might be the WORST/LEAST taken care of highway in the entire state...pothole craters,unfinished/unlevel pavement everywhere.. i just wait to see the flowers on the side of the highway for the memorial of some douchebag who bit the big one..moving on...
definately enough room for a meet of 20+ inside the restaurant/bar..ive seen entire kids baseball teams eating in there after a game so its safe to say that could accommodate a North meet for us. the food is great, the prices are cheap, and the parking lot is big...like i said i think its a great spot for a meet i dont know why it hasnt been utilized yet...

Here is an idea. Always seems whenever car ppl get together on set nights at random Locations things get broken up fast. Theres a place called the West side bar and grill about 1/2 mi in off rt46 in Little falls/border woodland park. Its also just a few mi's from willlowbrook mall. The have a nice size lot in the back that can hold plenty of cars. I know early thursday nights are slow there as do all other nights. I dont see how they would mind if 20 or so car guys meet up at the place grabed a bite to eat and hungout. It may help promote there business which is a good thing, we could be helping out a struggling local guy. You nvr know it could turn into a good thing for all. Just throwing it out there.

You could always use the parking lot of the lowes/microcenter in the paterson on rt 20. I work at the microcenter and I have seen car clubs gather every now and then on the side lot and never had any cops break it up. There isnt a food spot right here but we could always figure out where to eat.

The other option is Rebar in Lodi. I am friends with the owner and any night other than thurdays night would be good with him. He has awesome food and a Lot in the rear of the building where 30+ cars could fit with no problem.
