March 2012 Car of the Month
91chevyz28's 1991 Camaro Z28
Name: Jason B.
About the car: I purchased my 1991 Camaro Z28 in July of 1998 from the original owner with 26,000 miles on it. It is a LB9 with a 5 speed transmission. Since owning the car I had a 3" cat-back exhaust installed, Hurst shifter, MSD ignition, SLP underdrive pulley, TPIS airfoil and adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and I ported the upper intake behind the throttle body. It came with a factory aluminum drive shaft and aluminum rear drum brakes with a 3.08 limited slip rear. best 1/4 mile time to date is a 14.6 @ 97 mph.

April 2012 Car of the Month
edpontiac91's 1991 Formula 350
Name: Ed K.
About the car: This is my 1991 Formula 350. Out of just over 5,200 Formula's that were built, only 1,198 had the L98 Corvette motor with the Performance Option which included Dual Cat converters, Oil Cooler, 3:23 axle ratio and 4-wheel disc brakes. It has been a garage queen for over 12 years and will be featured in High Performance Pontiac magazine in the very near future. All the mods are in my signature and I hope to start going out to car shows soon (IF gas prices don't go to the moon by then)!

May Car of the Month
GhostDakota's 1998 Trans Am
Name: Rick Rotondo
About the car: This is my 2nd f-body (first was a 4th Gen LT1 Camaro). Last summer I decided my BMW E36 M3 was too slow and I wanted something faster. After searching Autotrader for a month or two I finally found my current TA. It had 86,000 miles at that time. Just rolled over to 99,000 today. It's not my daily driver :O Current mods are: K&N FIPK, Flowmaster, 3" QTP e-cutout, 17x11" rear TT2's with 315/35R17 Nitto NT555's, 17x9.5" front with 245/45R17" BFG's, I've also installed a custom Hella 60mm headlight setup with projector HID lows and freeform projector highs, Powerslot & Centric rotors and pads, etc. I currently have quad tips sitting at my desk ready for installation. My other current project is replacing all worn OE parts, mainly weatherstripping and seals. Tracking it for the first time this year, tomorrow. Oh, and my birthday is in May lol!
Happy Birthday Rick!

June Car of the Month
BonzoHansen's 1977 Camaro Z28
Name: Scott A.
About the car: This is my 1977 Z28. That's me racing it at NJMSP in April at the Run to the Shore event, screwing up that corner. I just thought it was a cool pic so I entered it. I drove it as hard as I could and it ran perfect all weekend. It's about half way to where I want it to be. It runs a 350 4bbl, a 99 Z28 T56 6-speed trans and an OE 1977 3.73 8.5" ring rear end. It was a 4-speed car new. It has a full Hotchkis TVS setup, Bilstein shocks, upgraded 12" front rotors, hawk pads and porterfield rear shoes. It just got beautiful new headers & a full stainless exhaust from American Racing Headers, the first part of the drive train upgrades. Over the winter it got new custom gauges from speedhut. It also has 4th gen leather seats and seat belts up front. It's about as reliable as an old car gets, I drive it whenever I can. It's power tour ready, so I should probably do that one of these days.

August Car of the Month
coolmanvette75's 1994 Z28
Matt Plotkin
1994 Camaro Z28
This is my 94 Z28 M6 hardtop. It is my first car that I bought when I was 16 back in 2010. Some of the major modifications I have made over the past 2 years include a Quick Performance 9 inch rear, Nitrous Outlet plate kit (150 shot), a built T56 transmission, and a full drag suspension. The car has gone a best et of 12.0 and a best mph of 119.1. Currently I am planning a new engine build that should happen over the next month. Plans are for forged internals and a bigger shot of nitrous.

November Car of the Month
The Bishop's 1998 Camaro Z28
Name:The Bishop
About the car: 1998 Camaro Z28. Bright Purple Metallic. Traded my '94 Z28 back to the person I bought it from for this one. Car was mostly stock aside from a TCI converter and a UMI adjustable torque arm. Soon after purchase, I installed Strano springs, Koni shocks, UMI double adjustable roto-joint/poly lower control arms, UMI Roto/Poly double adjustable panhard bar, bolt-on LCA relocation brackets, and weld-in UMI subframe connectors. I also installed a low-mileage 3.42 rear axle with a Summit support cover.
Engine mods are an LS6 intake with a ported throttle body and an SLP lid. Exhaust is a set of Dynatech stainless headers and their off-road Y that I welded high-flow mini cats into, connected to a Magnaflow catback. Transmission is stock with a Yank SS3600 converter. I have HP tuners, so I tuned the car myself.
Exterior mods are a set of C6 Z06 style 17" wheels with 275/40/17 tires all around, a set of Depo whistler-style headlights, and clear front marker lights that were on the car when I bought it. Original fog light housings were shot, so I bought a set of blazer fog lights, and modified the factory brackets to hold them. They look 100% stock, but only cost $40 plus the mods to the brackets.
The car has run (on a set of drag radials) a best of 12.35 @ 110.4 at Island Dragway. Future mods include a set of ported 243 heads and a cam, possibly this winter.

December Car of the Month
BarneyMobile’s 2000 Camaro SS
Name: Rob Wideman
About the car: This is my 2000 Camaro SS M6. I've had this car since January 2007. It replaced my old 95 Z28 (The original BarneyMobile). My SS used to be my daily driver but now it is my weekend warrior. This car has been under the knife many times and is now sporting a nitrous fed 404ci LQ9 stroker with a Mcleod RXT twin disc and a Tick Level 2 T56 behind it. It also has a Moser 9 inch rear with 4.11 gears and adjustable drag shocks on all 4 corners. So far, my car has been a best of a 9.76 @ 141.56 mph. I have plans to lighten up the car a bit and dial in the suspension more with hopes of going low 9's.

January Car of the Month
B4C's 2001 Camaro SS
Name: Mike G
About the car: This is my 2001 SLP SS. I purchased it sight unseen off ebay in November 2009 for about half of what it was worth. The previous owner installed a tubular k-member, cammed lq4, qtp headers and ORY, and 4:11 gears in the otherwise stock 10 bolt. The car ran way rich when I bought it, and I grenaded the 10 bolt 2 weeks after I got it. I have installed a Moser 12 bolt with 4:11's, UMI chassis mounted torque arm with driveshaft loop, Spohn LCA's, Global West panhard, UMI SFC's, Chromoly DS, Monster Stage 3. The car was tuned by Tommy from TMR, and has ran a best of 11.88@119 on radials. Shooting to get booted for running to fast without a cage on slicks next season. Spray or Turbo build in the future.

March Car of the Month
1986IROCZ28's 2001 Camaro Z28
Name: Ryan
About the car: This is my 2001 Camaro Z28. I've owned this car for over three years now and it has come a long way. The car was formerly a Florida car, it was purchased in Jacksonville and I have just moved back to New Jersey. This is my first LSx car, it's a 6 speed with a Monster level 2 clutch and Monster slave. I added the SS hood and spoiler along with black 10 spoke wheels with a polished lip along with an SLP grille. Mods are Pacesetter long tubes into true duals dumped at the rear with deleted cats. SLP lid and smooth bellow with a flow pac. Also has an SLP line lock installed. Recently had the car tuned and it put down 335 to the wheels with a dying fuel pump.

November 2013 Car of the Month
omarcamaro's 1995 Camaro Z28
Name: Omar
About the car: This is my 1995 Camaro Z28. My wife purchased this car for herself in 2003, drove it in the rain a little to aggressively, then she came home and told me I had to go buy her another car because it went side ways on her. I have upgraded every part of this car since then. I built a 383 for it, installed a Performabuilt Level 3 trans, added a Strange S60 rear axle, lowering kit, OEM SS hood, custom SS style rear wing, and many other mods.

February Car of the Month
redsoxsstink's 1986 IROC-Z
Name: Nick Ridgway
About the car: This is my 1986 IROC-Z, I bought it in August as a project car. It came with a L98 swap with a "zz4" cam. It is a t5, with 3.73s and a worn out posi. I have put in 4th gen leather seats, sway bars, kyb shocks and struts, eibach 1.75in drop springs, full exhaust, a set of US mag 1pc 18x8 18x9.5 rims wrapped with bfg super comp II. I currently have a assembled H/C/I 350 ready to go in once spring hits. I plan to do a T56 swap, upgrade to koni yellows and weight jacks this summer.
I'm not proud of it but it ran a 14.2 at 100mph with a 2.6 60ft this was the best run out my first 3 times at the track ever. I know it has more left in it
