Like everything else with the truck, amazingly simple
The steering dampener will be the tricky part

May swing by for a pickle fork, but that would be it.

After ruining a pep boys pickle fork rather awesomely, swung by Pal Perf LLC.
After getting a chunk of rust in my eye, a real pickle fork did the trick and dampener swapped out.
Next up, SS brake lines. Le ****.

Do yourself a favor and remove the bed before you start the brake lines.

Yeah, my brother and I found it easier/faster to lift the beds off our trucks. 8 bed bolts, one plug and the fuel filler neck from the bedside.

So in what started as "lets just check the bleeders and maybe do the rears today" turned into.. "**** it lets do it all"
Thank you GM for some crappy OEM brake lines..
Some not so great pics of SS fanciness
Amidst the install
Rear lines
And the cluster **** ABS
Again, huge thanks to Adam, would not have gotten any of this done without his help.

Another successful job!
Needs an alignment, figuring the last alignment pulled the slack out of the pitman/idler and now with new stuff its pulled back to much. But, no more sloppy steering at highway speeds. Life is good

Looks good and I'm sure not a single torque spec was followed.

My logic was he weighs around 184 lbs and if he stood on one foot, he could torque to 184 ft lbs by hand. What actually happened was he had 2 big ass wrenches flexing the steering box. Its fineeeeeeeeeeeeee.
