Just got back from the Oldbridge area and thought I was going to stop at Raceway for gas seeins as they're usually the cheapest. Well guess what, nobody was there because across the corner the Shell was cheaper. How's $3.15 for reg at Raceway compared to $2.78 for reg at Shell. It's a no brainer but DAMN, wtf is going on with this country?
One last thing; why is the NJ average gas cost been higher than average when transport costs are so low? Is it really all of those gov't taxes? I sure as hell know it's not the full serve cost! So what gives?

yea shell was the cheapest one when i went out today too. I wonder why? all the small gas stations seemed to be high while companies like shell, exxon and mobile were cheaper.

Dam, I was gonna get about 5 gallons of gas for the boat this past Monday and forgot. I'm not paying $4 a gallon for gas for the boat unless I'm completely out. Since it gets premixed with 2 stroke oil I don't want to waste it and have it go bad over the winter.

damn gas proces around my house went up again. 3.50 is the highest and 3.09 is the lowest for premium. Surprisigly all the cheap gas stations are Exxon which usually charge a ****load for gas.

Exxon/Mobil are the largest so their prices change slower (generally speaking) and their supply is usually more stable. Places like Raceway gas and Lora's all have small supply chains in comparison. This results in them paying more for the same gas, the only good thing about them is that they have less overhead so USUALLY they're cheaper than the big Exxon/Mobil and Shell/BP's.
As for gas, just keep topping off. Gas prices aren't going to drop so the least you can do is keep the tank full of the cheapest gas. That's what I've been doing for the past week. All my cars are near full, the 2 Hemi's are a royal PITA. I don't think the MDS is doing jack squat for mileage because I'm averaged to 18mpg. I drive like I'm on empty so that 18 is the best these cars will do .

I was ashamed at myself earlier, cuz I stopped at a BP cuz I saw premium was "only" 3.09, so put all of the 16 bucks in my wallet into my tank... that got me like a quarter tank, a little more

Woohoo, I just got 3 gallons for the boat and 2-1/2 gallons for the mower at $2.89! I can't believe I'm happy I paid $2.89 but I saw the price when I went by and decided it would be good to have a few extra gallons sitting around in case of an emergency.

Right around the corner from my house. They actually had a tanker there last night making a delivery too. I'm not sure what the price is today though. All of West Trenton was around $3.25 last night and these guys were still $2.89.
