t-tops most def. mine dont leak, i dont think they ever will if you maintain the weather striping. plus it the best of both worlds, it looks better than a vert ride smoother than a vert and you still get the wind in your hair feel. plus its awesome having your whole roof being glass. if the sun bothers your thta much that you need to covers i recommend you get a hard top lol

I believe that would be you, since a few posts above, he stated that he agrees with me. On the first page, he also posted pictures of his uncle's? vert and states how awesome it is.

Dude verts rock have you ever had one? No dosent sound like it. Drop the top and go for a drive if you ever have the chance to get behind the wheel of one. Yes antirice that's my uncles car he let me borrow it, wanted a vert ever since the top was always down as long at it wasn't raining lol samething goes for the t-tops on my car always off as long as there's not rain and it isn't 20* out. Anyway op (Justin) vert! You remember riding in my uncles car when I had it.

Just to toss my two cents in...
My 1996 Camaro with T tops never leaked. Not even a little bit. But then again, I ordered it new, and no one else got to screw with it before me. Also, there are built in drain channels for water that gets past the outer seals, they need to be kept clean.
But if you look, a vert has a higher resale value, and are considered the preferred vehicle over t-tops in the automobile industry.
I think the best would be a vert with a removable hard top. Don't think anyone makes one, but it would be the best setup.

nothing wrong with having a gf influence what kind of car you buy. especially if its a serious relationship thats not going anywhere anytime soon. cause if she says buy a vert and he gets ttops then everytime he gets out to put the tops in the trunk she's gonna say ''see i told you we shouldve got the convertible...rah rah rah rah.''
anyway....i digress. i wasnt a fan of verts till i owned my first convertible. fun little rx7

T-tops are my choice.Just get some subframe connectors on it and That will help out a little with future leaking. Are the T/a's TPI, LT1 or LS1 cars?

i completely disagree. unless shes contributing financially to the purchase, it is 100% YOUR CHOICE. buy what feels right FOR YOU.
