Weather looks like it will be a tad cold on Saturday, 28 degrees for the high. Is everyone still going down if it's that cold?

Will a bike helmet suffice?
How much does a decent helmet go for and where can I get one?

I might have to sit this first week out otherwise

By bike helmet, I really hope you mean motorcycle helmet. And they will take it as long as it's Snell certified.
