We have about 2 inches here. I have to go out at 830 so I'll see what the roads are like. Remaining weather should be out by lunch. Unless I am totally surprised when I go out I'd say we are on.

edit: it is sleeting here. I am going to call and see if we can delay. no guarantees until I talk to them.

anyone out there just be safe and keep long following distances. This is NJ not SC, we can handle 2" of snowy stuff.

It would have been nice if they had plowed even just a little last night or this morning. I drove in at 5:30am and every road was untouched.

Roads are quite passable but you gotta take your time. Rt295 and then main local roads I was on were plowed. some sleet in the air so be safe.

I have not got an answer yet from firkin but I want to delay lunch from 1 to 230. As soon as I know I'll report back.

If not remember lunch is served at 1 so take your time!

Lunch is delayed until 230 so maybe plan being there around 2. Take your time and be safe!

Looks like the snow here is done and they just plowed my road. So the 2:30 delay should work out well for the roads to get cleaned up before most people need to head out. Take it easy and give yourself extra time. I've seen too many accidents the last 3 days and that was in good weather!

I'm all shoveled out so it's not really that bad. I forgot what a great workout shoveling is! Now I'm ready to have a beer!

Been working in the area this morning, most of the roads are nicely cleared and nothing more then wet UNITL you get to Ewing. Scotch and Lower Ferry look untouched, so allot of slush, so a bit messy but you can certainly get through.

Just got back from the gym and the main roads are pretty clear so if my little town on a mountain is decent, all you other people are definitely OK!
