We may roll in around the same time then. I run papers at night for extra cash, due to that I wind up sleeping in til at least 11. I believe it takes me at least a half hour or so to get out to the track from where I'm at. Depends how I go too. I may skip the Hackettstown junction and take the winding back roads. They come out literally down the street from the track.
BTW, anyone cruising in from anywhere that people could do a rolling join? Shades of Death road, Alphano road, etc all come out like a couple blocks away from the strip if anyone is interested in any um....enthusiastic cruising. I'll likely be there around when racing starts, if anyone wants to meet me somewhere to head down there let me know, though as I said, I can't vouch for when I'll be up.

I'll be there. Island is accomodating and we can ask for our own lane. We can race each other for fun. I miss the Nationals.

I'll answer it again...
15 dollars to enter and just watch, hang out, BS.
25 dollars to race along with the above activities.
5 dollars to rent helmets.

Ok so I'm stuck working till 2 tomorrow so no Island Dragway for me this year. But I still intend on heading over to Applebee's. Wether or not I'll be in the Vette is still to be decided.

Looks like I'm going to be out on at least the racing, as my car decided to (1) develop a vibration at 60+ miles per hour (2) one of my oxygen sensors is taking a crap and (3) my rear knock sensor is dead.
It also doesn't help that my allergies are slowly killing me.

Scott, Are we going to try to get all the f-bodies together or just find an open spot in the pits?

I may not be that late afterall, From the looks of it I may be up around 10-10:30 and after doing a quick favor for mom, I'll be at the track all day.

Real nice day at the track. Shame so few people went. I only recognized/saw a couple people from BOA there.

I only saw a few fbods so didn't assume they were members. I ran pretty consistent 13.0X on a 2.0 60'. Not horrible with the DA and hot lapping the car. I think I could have gotten the 60 down a touch more to squeak into the 12s again.

Thats good. I ran a 13.65 @ 100 with a 2.01 60'....almost 5/10's of a second better than my previous 14.09 @ 97. I guess just from the SLP LM1.

Yeah the car went pretty good down the 1/4. You spun at the line some too so a tire would help a lot.

Ah so people were there, only had the daily drivers....damn we were looking for the wrong cars...LOL I did see the trailblazer SS and G8. Me and Grazi were wondering what was going on, and I went over to check out what was apparently Pauls car as he was leaving.
I had the GTA, ran 14.9 best, blew the tires off on another run and 15 flats for the other two. That is with really no launching to speak of, I tried the one time and blew the tires off. Didn't want to push my luck with a fresh bottom end. If I break it in further and actually get the launch down I may have run mid 14s. But I was happy, it was right where it should have been. Met Paul there as well. Had a nice chat with him. Great guy. We both expected to see at least like 8 F bodies in the parking lot so we were surprised.
