'Ellwyn' was the name of my character I'd created for an RPG (think Dungeon's & Dragons, but not D&D) I used to play. When I got online I needed an ID and the only thing I could think of right away was Ellwyn, so I just slapped an 'X' at the end of it. Thus for 10 years, on every site and IM I am known as 'EllwynX'. (Pronounced- ell-win-EKS)
As of the last week, it's also become my Camaro's license plate.

RedBanditz28, because my camaro is a z28, it is red and the headlights look like a bandit/domino mask. At least that is how I see it in the picture below.

I was given my name by GM high tech magazine. I had a snap shot and a little write up in the back of the mag. At the time it was in there they were doing a project car. It was a purple Z28 which they labeled The grape of wrath. They labeled me junior grape of wrath. I left out the junior and stuck in the 3.4. My car has a 3.4 liter motor.

I think you just wanted to confuse the hell out of us. And I never even thought of that.

Do you play hockey? If not, you should. You have an awesome name for hockey.
My SN is the same one on just about every forum I'm a member of. Comes from a nickname back in college when I would drink everything short of paint thinner.

Hahah really? You seem like the most mild mannered dude I know now. Guess you did it like me and got it out of your system.
Mine came from college...all my buddies used to tell me I was hardcore into my lifting...and of course I threw the Z28 onto the end.

Yup. It was kinda a half-joke thing. Normally I'd be going to class and studying hard in the library and then on Friday night I'd be the guy with 40s duct taped to his hands. They'd guess which "Billy" was coming out at night.
Carried over to my QQ plate selection for the Nova- I kept with the duality of man thing and went with "Mr Hyde". Surprisingly not too many people have gotten it.
