What do you coat with after you steam clean them?
Simple green works well but I can't stand the smell personally. I just use aerospace 303 for most plastics/rubbers etc.... with a dash of cherry extract....

Got to say, not a fan of protectant on foot-related surfaces, like mats or pedals. Too slippery. Getting them clean is usually enough for me.

Would like for the weather to warm up and dry out so I can get the side steps back on the new truck, and need to get some tires on the method wheels so I can put them back on.

Steps/rocker guards installed. Also washed 99% of the salt off.

Thanks. I miss the mileage of the diesel, but not the short-trip diesel emissions system headaches. Sadly, the weight reduction tuning options have all disappeared with the EPA crackdown.

It's a lot quicker off the line, though. 308 HP and the eight speed transmission get things moving.
