It was good to meet some of you guys today. I gotta get out to more meets! Maybe I will bring the T/A out next time.

Nah, no worries there Scott.
And I discovered either the gas gauge is on the fritz, or the float on the sending unit is stuck in the tank. After my car took over 15 gallons this morning when the gauge read 1/2 tank, I drove down to the meet and back (almost 150 miles round trip) and the gauge hasn't moved off Full yet.
