Adding OEM remote start.... Cobalt

ive been googling but the cobalt owners just argue about which aftermarket system is better and who works at ciruit city and what not....
2008 Cobalt LT auto with keyless entry, can the dealer program in the OEM remote start?
it looks like it can be done on GM trucks if they have a certain RPO code (AP8)
and looks like this is the kit you need to purchase thru GM accessories part # 17801236

Most dealers have an aftermarket company they use to install remote starts/alarms and don't use factory equipment.

There are two OEM kits available for an 08 Cobalt.

19213691 and 19213692. I'm not sure what the difference is, the first one is about $100 more and install time is an hour more than the second number.

Both kits require dealer programming, they come with a new theft module and a new remote control door lock receiver. A non GM shop will not be able to program the car unless they have a Tech 2 and access to the programming software.

Edit:
19213691 for use with RPO codes AUO, MN5 (cars with standard keyless entry)
19213692 for use with AP3 (for cars already equipped with Remote Start)
