Finally Uploaded Short Vids from 8/1/2015 AutoX
Video from the beginning parts of each run. I usually take the first two runs slowly to learn the course and go for it on the last runs. My 4th run was by far my quickest. I'm still a novice by every meaning of the word, but I'm generally improving greatly.
For 2016, the car will get a more aggressive alignment and thicker, solid roll bars. I can't wait for Spring so I can get back out there.

Thanks man.
I love autocross and can't believe it took me this long to start going regularly. It's not even about being competitive for me, it's just a blast to rip the parking lot as hard as you can and try and improve upon your time.

What specific safety gear do you need? I assume a helmet but anything else that one should be aware of before attending?

A helmet, yes. I believe it needs to be SA2010 or newer. They have some to rent also.
You go through a basic tech inspection that is no more rigorous than a drag strip. To be honest, it seems the regulations are less stringent since you really max out at 50-60mph anyway. If the car is streetable, it will pass.

I believe 200 or up. I'm running 315 Rival S all around. The tires are just insanely good.

very awesome. I wil be doing something just like it but with other events included in May, I put a post about it looking to see who else is interested in going/participating. Optima Ultimate Street Car event may 20-21 at NJMP
I really really want to start getting into autocross this year and have been doing a bunch of browsing online about it. If you become aware of any events in the NJ NY PA area let me know. I have heard of the one over at Met Life stadium that you did there in the videos .. keep me in the loop, PM me details or whatever. I've never done any autoX event so I know it will be a learning experience for a while first, but it does look way fun.
good videos

Keep an eye out on autox4u.com. There is usually an event every couple of weeks whether it be through SCCA or MSNE.
