Alternator Heat Shielding

Being as I can't ever just let my car be, wanna see if I can isolate my alternator from the heat of a crossover pipe. Pipe is painted, and double wrapped already.

Any suggestions on how to do this?

How much space is there between them? Possibly fashion an aluminum heat shield?

Is wrapping or coating or both the crossover pipe an option? Exhaust wrap is pretty cheap and rather effective.

DEI and others have clamp on heat shields. maybe you can find something to add to the pipe.
