corvette in the garage

my dad decided since he doesnt drive his camaro ever, he will buy a vette to enjoy on the weekends. he found an 89 vette 6spd through the dealer he works at. the engine was a bit under the weather from sitting over 15yrs. he freshened the engine up and boy does it run good. currently it has 25k miles and drive like a dream. here are some pictures i took this morning.

his camaro is a 68 z28 clone, rallye green w white stripes. it has a chevy 350 crate engine, 4 spd auto with o/d, headers/full exhaust, 10 bolt posi with 3.73s. bought, built, and redone himself. hes had it most of my life (18yrs) and its only been driven up the streethe doesnt even start it once in a while. me and my buddies call it the most expensive dust collector.

Underrated cars IMO. You can pick them up for a song and they're still fairly quick/good handling.

Sweet looking car! Pretty sure 89 was the first year for the ZF6 6-speed too.

Horrid interior, needs an engine beefing.. but I love the rear more of the earlier C4s. Good looking cars, i'd save for one if it wasn't for the disgusting cockpit. Nice buy!!

i like the interior. the seats are dreamy, they fit me perfectly. obv its not the best years for the vettes but a corvette is a corvette i think the tpi has adequate power its not stellar but its plenty to make it fun.

thanks for the complements everyone. black is a pita to make look good, its even harder when the car has been outside for years

C4 is a nice looking car...

C3's are not my thing. IMO, Corvette ended production in 68, and started again in 84.
