A bad miss at low rpm while driving

The car is a 96 formula 6spd with 94k on it. I bought it a few months ago and I've replaced the plugs, wires, coil, fuel filter and added a tsp exhaust. It always had a hesitation between 1600 to 1800 at light throttle. Now all of a sudden I have a bad miss from start to 2500 to 3k and then it goes away. I have had codes in the recent weeks first it was a generic miss fire p0300 and now it has a p0307. I was thinking the option or icm need to be replaced. This is my daily so any help is greatly appreciated.

Does it do this all the time or just when cold/hot?

Hard to tell right now I've only driven it to and from work like this once and it does seem to be all the time but worse when hot but I will check again on my way to work tonight.

If it only has 307 now, you should look at cylinder 7 for good spark, fuel, and compression.

It flashes because you are misfiring

ok I took off the num 7 plug wire and it was toast as it was touching the exhaust manifold. Of course I threw out my old ones so I had to rig up a regular old wire from an old car and change over the opti boot. Ugh. I wonder if Jegs would replace the wire? I hope that was the only problem. I guess we will see tonight.

Thanks LT but I did call Jegs and they are sending out the longest wire in the kit. If I need it I will let you know. Thanks
