If you scroll down you would have seen that it's not an "official club meet" just a bunch of west guys getting together for dinner, and it has always been open to everyone. Bear's point is that we don't need to go down south to go to the TRH anymore. No reason to break out the flamethrower.
For what it's worth, google says I am 57 minutes away from Hamilton and you are 45 minutes away.
